It is produced from the Greek variety Agiorgitiko, which has adapted exceptionally well to the microclimate of Drama. The grapes come from a selected plot on the slopes of mount Menoikio at an altitude of about 400 meters, where low yields per hectare prevail.
The carefully selected date of the night harvest and the exact duration of extraction, contributes to the optimal balance of the aromatic and phenolic potential of the variety of Agiorgitiko. The wine ages for 12 months in French oak barrels and ceramic amphorae with further 12 months in the bottle.
Medium to deep ruby color. On the nose fruity aromas, such as cherry, red plums, and hints of black pepper. Full and generous in the mouth, with rich fruit. Fine tannins with a long and pleasant aftertaste. Ready to enjoy now, but it will surprise anyone who shows patience for 2-3 years. Excellent ageing potential.
