Produced from the Greek variety Assyrtiko. The grapes come from a selected plot on the slopes of mount Menoikio at an altitude of 550 meters, where low yields per acre prevail.
Whole-bunch pressing is followed by skin–contact at low temperature and fermentation in small inox and oak tanks. The wine matures with the fine lees for 6 months.
Bright, green-yellow color. On the nose discreet aromas of white flowers, citrus and lemon peel combined with a sense of minerality. It is a full-bodied wine with a high and refreshing acidity, notes of citrus, stone and chalk dominating in the mouth and its long aftertaste. Suggested aging even up to 10 years after harvest.
